Since protein shots already are without all the extras we don’t want to add any extras that aren’t good for you.

With protein shots you can make a delicious fat- and sugar free breakfast, snack or dessert. With a healthier alternative to snacks, that once used to be sinners, you’ll avoid falling for unhealthy temptations. At the same time you’ll give your body the good proteins it needs, and less of what it does not need. You can mix a protein shot with lots of things you are eating or drinking daily. Not only will you get all the benefits from a protein shot; you will not have to add milk and sugar either.

  • Mix a protein shot Reb with your coffee.
  • Put a protein shot on your oat meals instead of milk and sugar.
  • Blend a protein shot with a cooled tea (like apple/cinnamon, caramel, vanilla, piña colada or baileys tea) and fill the glass with ice cubes.
  • Make a glass of hot chocolate with a protein shot to improve the GI-value (i.e. making it more blood sugar stabilizing).
  • Blend a protein shot with ice cubes and soy milk for a delicious, creamy drink that will satisfy your need for eating snacks!

How to make it…

1) Make a coffee or espresso with 1 cup of water in a large (1/2 litre) glass.

2) Shake a protein shot with 1/2 cup of water and pour it on the coffee.

3) Enjoy the delicious and creamy ‘Protein Shot Café Latte’.

TIP: You can also use tea instead of coffee. Let the tea infuse in 1/2 cup of boiled water (make sure the cup or glass is large enough for a protein shot to be mixed in). Shake the protein shot and pour it on the tea.

Try a delicious strawberry smoothie: Blend a protein shot with soy milk and frozen strawberries into a think, creamy mass. It’s like ice cream just without all the fat and sugar. If you want it to be thicker just put it in the freezer for 30 minutes before serving.


Why soy milk? We prefer soy milk because it is lactose-free, low-carb, high in protein, has unsaturated fatty acids, low cholestereol and a creamy taste with no more calories than skimmed milk! If you want a ‘light’ version of soy milk – just add water to it 1:1. If you don’t have problems with lactose, just use regular cow milk.
